Description Austin Healey Mark 3 BJ8 Phase 2. Built in 1964 and exported to USA. It was one of three show cars at the 1964 New York Motor Show. It returned to UK in 1990, converted to RHD and resided in Falkirk, Scotland. I bought the car from Murray Scott Nelson in 2000 and requested it be restored to a near concours condition. I wasn't going to show it, I just wanted a very nice driveable car. It is still in superb condition. Painted 72 spoke wire wheels, vinyl hood, halogen lights, black leather seats, new tyres, overdrive, Mota Lita steering wheel, gas flowed polished lead free cylinder head, 6 branch performance exhaust manifold and matching exhaust system, undersealed and waxoyled. Paintwork perfect. Photos of restoration, all service paperwork, all parts paperwork, all MOTs. Heritage Certificate matching numbers car. Summer use only, never goes out in rain. |
