The HMC Mk4 was
intended as the successor to the AH Mk3 3000, Originally intended to carry the
Healey Marque forward but when Jensen Motor Co. disputed the ownership of the
trademark, "Healey", the car was re- badged HMC.
This car is the 2nd HMC Mk4 built, it was hand built by the
founders of HMC Sportscars Ltd, Peter and Graham Holmes.
It was later upgraded at the factory to its current
Improvements over the Mk3 3000 included, A 3.5 litre, fuel
injected V8 engine developing 194 bhp, 5
speed gearbox, independent suspension and power disc brakes all around, rack and pinion steering.
