Driving with Purpose: Classic Cars, Style & Men’s Health

This Sunday, 28th September 2025, we’re proud to be taking part in something truly special — the Distinguished Gentleman’s Drive (DGD) — a global event where style, heritage motoring, and purpose come together to support a vital cause: raising funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health, in partnership with Movember.

Hosted at the Iconic JLR Classic Works, Ryton

This year marks the first time JLR Classic Works at Ryton will host the DGD, and we’re honoured to be part of this exciting milestone. Attendees will have the rare opportunity to tour the state-of-the-art facility — a treasure trove of classic automotive craftsmanship — in exchange for a small additional donation, with all proceeds going directly to support Movember’s mission.

But that’s not all. A selection of historic and rare vehicles from the JLR Classic collection and the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust (JDHT) will be taking part in the drive, making it a day to remember for car lovers of all kinds.

Our Route: A Scenic Warwickshire Drive

Starting and ending at JLR Classic Works, the group will enjoy a relaxed, picturesque drive through the Warwickshire countryside, including a short pit stop at JDHT in Gaydon. With a cruising speed of 30–50mph, the route is designed to be a gentle, enjoyable journey, perfect for both seasoned drivers and newcomers to the classic car scene.

This event is all about celebrating the joy of driving, community spirit, and supporting an important cause — all while surrounded by some of the finest examples of motoring history.

Everyone is Welcome – Join the Movement

Whether you’re an employee of JLR, a long-time automotive enthusiast, or simply love the spectacle of classic vehicles, this event is for you.

  • Arrival from: 9:00 AM
  • Rally Departure: Around 10:00 AM
  • Catering: Available at both the start and finish of the drive
  • Start/Finish Location: JLR Classic Works, Ryton
  • Midpoint Stop: JDHT, Gaydon

If you don’t own a classic but have an interesting or unique vehicle, you’re still welcome to drive with us. These “non-conforming” vehicles will be grouped at the rear of the rally, led by some of JLR Classic and JDHT’s modern classics, ensuring they add to the spectacle without overshadowing the vintage elegance of the main drive.

And even if you’re not behind the wheel, you can still be part of the experience. Come out and line the route, cheer on the drivers, and bring friends and family to witness a moving display of automotive passion and purpose.

More Than Just a Drive

At its heart, the Distinguished Gentleman’s Drive is about bringing people together — to celebrate style, solidarity, and shared responsibility for men’s health. This year, as proud participants in the Ryton event, we’re excited to help raise awareness, generate vital funds, and enjoy the rare opportunity to drive alongside iconic cars from JLR Classic and JDHT.

We hope to see many of you there — suited up, engines humming, and united for a cause that affects us all.

Thank you,
From all of us attending the 2025 Distinguished Gentleman’s Drive at JLR Classic Works
