Each year, we take great pride in attending major automotive events that bring together enthusiasts, restorers, and clubs from around the world. This autumn, our team had the pleasure of showcasing our products and connecting with the classic car community at two incredible events — the Classic Motor Show in Birmingham, UK, and Époqu’Auto in Lyon, France.

Both shows were unforgettable experiences filled with stunning displays, inspiring conversations, and a shared love for motoring heritage.

Classic Motor Show – Birmingham, UK

The Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show neverfails to impress, and this year was no exception. From the moment the doors opened, the halls were filled with the sound, sight, and spirit of motoring history.

We were thrilled to meet so many familiar faces — loyal A H Spares customers and long-time Austin-Healey enthusiasts — as well as plenty of new ones eager to learn more about restoring and maintaining these iconic British classics.

Every corner of the show was a celebration of motoring passion. Under one roof were classic cars, motorbikes, and even vintage vans, each lovingly restored and displayed with pride. It was wonderful to see the car clubs showcasing their dedication and creativity with such beautiful stands.

A particular highlight for us was seeing the enthusiasm of the younger generation of car lovers, especially at the Midget & Sprite Club and the MG Car Club. Their energy and passion are a reminder that the future of classic motoring is in great hands.

Époqu’Auto – Lyon, France

At the same time, our team crossed the Channel to France for Époqu’Auto in Lyon — another exceptional event that brought together enthusiasts from across Europe.

The show featured a dazzling array of vehicles, from timeless British roadsters to continental icons, all shining under the exhibition lights. Meeting so many Austin-Healey owners and fans in France was a real pleasure — it’s always inspiring to see how love for these cars transcends borders.

The camaraderie among exhibitors, collectors, and fans created a wonderful atmosphere, reminding us that the classic car community truly is one big family. It’s moments like these that make all the preparation worthwhile — connecting with people who share the same passion, knowledge, and respect for automotive heritage.
