This alternator-spec wiring harness is designed for early Austin Healey BJ8 models built up to car number (B)76137. It modifies the original dynamo wiring with heavier charging cables to handle the increased output of a modern alternator safely.
Supplied as a full loom for early BJ8 cars, excluding the overdrive harness, headlamp pigtails and steering column harness. These items can be supplied separately when required.
If you are fitting a Dynator or Dynalite unit, please note that a different harness is required. These are available to special order on request.
