This alternator-spec wiring harness is made for the Austin Healey BN6 through to the BJ7 (1958–62). It modifies the standard dynamo loom to cope with the higher output of a modern alternator, with heavier charging cables for safety and reliability.
Supplied as a full loom for BN6, BN7, BT7 and BJ7 models, excluding the overdrive harness, headlamp pigtails and steering column harness. These items can be supplied separately when needed.
If you are fitting a Dynator or Dynalite unit, please note that a different loom is required. This can be supplied to special order.
