This washer is used with the BON127 rivet to secure the bonnet support rubbers (BON126) to the front shroud on Austin Healey BN1 through BJ8 models. It spreads the load of the rivet, preventing distortion of the shroud panel and ensuring a long-lasting fix.
Fits all Austin Healey Big Healey models BN1 through BJ8. Used in conjunction with BON127 rivet and BON126 support rubber. Typically 4–6 assemblies are required per car.
One washer per rivet. Since most Healeys use 4–6 support rubbers, you’ll need 4–6 washers.
Not recommended, as they often deform when the old rivet is removed. New washers should always be used with new rivets.
