This right-hand front wing is made for Austin Healey Sprite MK2-MK4 and MG Midget models up to the December 1968 body breakpoint. It is intended for restoring or repairing the right front wing area where the original panel is corroded, damaged, heavily filled or missing.
The panel is handed, so this version is for the right-hand side of the car only. For a matching left-hand panel, order the corresponding left-hand front wing.

Body panel details worth checking before paint
This is an outer body panel for the front wing area. As with most classic Sprite and Midget bodywork, the surrounding shell condition matters just as much as the new panel. Door gaps, bonnet alignment, sill condition, A-post structure, inner wing condition and front valance alignment should all be checked before final finishing.
The broad model range makes the chassis breakpoint important. Later cars after December 1968 used a different application, so ordering by model name alone can lead to the wrong panel.
Trial fitting and installation checks
Professional bodywork fitting is recommended. Trial-fit the wing before paint or final finishing, then check the bonnet shut line, door gap, A-post edge, sill line and front panel alignment. Older shells may need local adjustment where previous repairs, corrosion or accident damage have altered the original panel positions.
Do not paint the panel before confirming its position on the car. Any necessary dressing, trimming or alignment work should be completed during trial assembly.
Why this panel is the sensible choice
The main advantage is clarity: this is the right-hand front wing for Sprite MK2-MK4 and MG Midget MK1-MK3 applications up to the December 1968 breakpoint. That matters because later Sprite and Midget body shells can look similar at a glance, but the panel application changes at the chassis break.
For owners and body shops, the key decision is simple: confirm the side, confirm the chassis number, and inspect the surrounding structure before ordering any related repair panels.
