This black hood is manufactured in the UK from Mohair canvas hooding, the finest hooding material used in the automotive industry. Hardwearing, weather resistant and non-stretch with a black backing. Not to be confused with “stayfast” or “double duck,” which are lower-grade materials.
Supplied with all hood fasteners.
Patterned for Austin Healey Sprite MK1 (Frogeye) from chassis number 5477, following the later MK1 geometry for reliable fit and sealing.
For best operation, pair with the Sprite MK1 hood frame assembly.
