This pair of chrome bonnet strap fixing plates reproduces the style used on Austin Healey 100M Le Mans and competition-prepared cars. Each plate is rectangular with two countersunk mounting holes and a smooth rolled edge profile. The mirror-chrome finish provides a clean, period-style appearance while protecting the bonnet surface beneath the strap ends.
Fits Austin Healey 100 BN1 and BN2 models equipped with a louvered aluminium bonnet and bonnet strap assembly. Not used on plain, non-louvered bonnets.
Mounting screws not included – order separately as OBP246 chrome screws.
Fit beneath each strap end using OBP246 screws through the bonnet skin. Ensure full surface contact to prevent distortion and maintain strap alignment. Designed to work with the OBP244 leather strap on louvered bonnets.
