When the fuel tank straps are tensioned, the boot floor is under a great deal of stress and this can cause the panel to distort.

These stainless steel washers are a direct copy of the original design to give additional support to this weak area but with the added advantage of being made from stainless steel so will not corrode in this well weather location.
