I worked at a classic car upholstery shop for five years in the US and continue to do some work at my home shop. I did numerous Austin Healey seats from most suppliers and learned how to do the hand sowing box stitch on the bottom of BN1 & 2 seat backs. I found the leather seats kits from AH Spares to be slightly thicker but more supple than others. This made them easier to stretch and pull down over the seat backs and achieve smooth straight piping over the crest and down the back and softer seat cushions. Very good foam kits compared to some that must be trimmed to use on BN1. Some of the other kits I had to have sections restitched to fit.
