Save the Date!
A.H. Spares has been supplying Austin-Healey parts since
1972 and continues to do so to Healey owners and enthusiasts all around the
world! It is because of you that we continue to grow and thrive 70 years
after the first BN1 was produced!
Come along to our Open Day see our vast stores, talk with our
staff and show off your Healey. You will see the developments we’ve been
working on with our products and workshops whilst enjoying drinks and
food.
It all began when Fred Draper (former Parts Manager
at the Donald Healey Motor Co.) volunteered to be made redundant in 1970
and offered to purchase the remaining Austin Healey parts after
production of the marque ceased in 1969.
A.H. Spares became a limited company in 1982 and the
business relocated from Leamington Spa to the market town of Southam.
After Fred retired in 1983, nephew Bob Hill and former assistant at
D.H.M.C Gordon Barton, continued to take the business to new heights with
printed catalogues, websites and developing our in-house manufacturing
units, A H Panels and Trim Shop.
Fred
would be so proud of A.H. Spares’ growth and success since he started the
business which continues because of your loyalty and dedication.
