Description This is an HMC Mk4 first registered in Germany in 1995, it is
currently resident in Germany but has come to the Manufacturer's in the
UK for service and power steering to be fitted. Whilst here the owner
has requested us to sell the car due to a sudden change in his personal
circumstances.
The HMC was designed as a continuation of the AH 3000 Mk3, made with
the approval of Geoffrey Healey who licensed the Healey trademark to
the Healey Motor Company Ltd. Unfortunately the Healey trademark was
dropped when it's ownership was disputed by Jensen Cars,
consequently the Healey Motor Company Ltd continued production under
the trade mark HMC Sportscars Ltd.
With type approval for Germany, the UK and other European countries
it met the demands of the safety and emmision standards of the day.
To meet the emmision standards it is fitted with catalytic converters
and runs on 95 RON E10 unleaded fuel, no need for octane booster or unleaded
additives. Built for the 90s it has many features not seen in an Austin Healey,
such as, through flow ventialtion, able to keep the occupants toasty warm
and the front and rear windows clear of mist, reclining seats with head restraints,
adjustable steering column, independant suspension all around, disc
brakes all around, adjustable telescopic dampers, coil springs, rack and
pinion steering, V8, 3.9 litre all aluminium engine, electronic fuel injection and ignition, 5 speed all
syncromesh gearbox, alluminium differential, power assisted brakes, stainless steel exhaust
system, immobiliser, unstressed corrosion proof composite body construction over a rigid
steel backbone chassis, rear fog light, reversing light, halogen
headlamps and a sound system. This car was manufactured in 1995 and sold in Germany., so is a Left Hand Drive model. Fitted with many extras offered at the time such as central door
locking, electric windows, power steering, chrome wire wheels, stainless
steel wing vents, rear seats and belts, mohair hood, full leather
seats and trim. It has also been fitted with an upto date sound
system incorporating Bluetooth and Sat Nav.
It has just 11,000 recorded kilometres on the clock so the drive is
impecable. With ample boot space a very comfortable driving position,
good heating and ventilation and a good sound system, it makes an ideal
touring car. If you are not familiar with the HMC marque, come and drive it to see for yourself what an accomplished motor car this is.
