This red hood is manufactured in the UK from Mohair canvas hooding, regarded as the finest hooding material in the automotive industry. It is hardwearing, weather resistant and non-stretch with a black backing. Mohair should not be confused with “stayfast” or “double duck” which are lower grade materials.
Supplied with all hood fasteners.
Patterned specifically for Austin Healey Sprite MK1 (Frogeye) up to chassis number 5476 to ensure correct geometry and sealing when used with the appropriate frame.
For best results, pair with the Sprite MK1 hood frame assembly.
