This Weber conversion replaces the standard SU induction with three genuine 45 DCOE sidedraft carburettors, a proven upgrade for Austin Healey six-cylinder engines. Popular with historic racers and fast-road builds, the kit offers sharper throttle response and greater airflow headroom than even the factory tri-carb setup.
Suits Austin Healey Big-Healey engines BN4.68960 through BJ8 (late BN4, BN6, BN7, BT7, BJ7 & BJ8). The kit is a direct replacement for twin or tri-SU systems; no bodywork changes are required.
The carburettors are supplied with a baseline calibration suitable for a standard engine. Rolling-road tuning is recommended to optimise jetting for camshaft, compression and exhaust upgrades.
Each 45 DCOE can be rebuilt using standard Weber service kits (jets, gaskets and needles). Replacement jets and venturis are readily available for future tuning.
When ordering, please specify whether your Healey is right-hand drive (RHD) or left-hand drive (LHD). The throttle-linkage kit is supplied in the correct configuration for your steering position, ensuring a straightforward installation.
