We are very much a family concern and Fred's nephew Bob Hill took over the running of the Company in 1982. In the near future he will be succeeded by his son Jonathan who will be ably assisted by John Lee (our Sales Manager) and Rebecca Hill (our Marketing Manager).The new team aim to build on the sound foundations already established by expanding the service and range of parts we offer. You will probably have already noticed that we now have sections specifically dedicated to performance parts and also our sister company, A.H.Panels. Having an associated sheet metal company enables us to keep tight control over both quality and fit issues. It has always been our main aim to keep these magnificent cars running for generation after generation. Our Enviromental policyLike all individuals and businesses we are increasingly aware of the impact of our activities on the environment. It is important to us as a company that we are not only conscious of this but that we take positive steps to minimise the effect. We have undertaken an environmental review of the business and have now introduced a number of measures towards a programme of continual environmental improvement: · Staff education to raise awareness of the issues and the practical steps that can be taken. · Energy usage minimisation through “switch off” campaigns, regular energy use monitoring and the introduction of more energy efficient systems. · Reduction of waste sent to landfill following the purchase of a cardboard shredder that provides packaging material for our shipments. · Recycling of waste wherever possible, eg. paper, leather offcuts and printer cartridges which are donated to Rotary Club charities. · Reduction of paper through our use of e-commerce, eg. price lists in PDF form or on CD. · Monitoring of water usage. · Wherever possible sourcing of materials, supplies and services from local suppliers. Our own company, A H Panels, allows us to produce body panels locally minimising transportation. · Technical improvement in our products. For example we are conducting trials of a new innovative fuel-injection system for Big Healey engines that will improve fuel consumption.
